In a daring assault in the heart of Amarrian space, Minmatar Republic militia, led an assault on a newly discovered Amarr starbase. The player owned structure (POS) was taken by surprise when a large Minmatar fleet, commanded by Silence iKillYouu (IFW) and Bald Beaver (Federal Defence Union - Gallente Federation), landed May 20, 2011. Despite attempts by a small contingent of Amarrian forces to hamper the operation the POS was put into reinforce for 24 hours.

Later that day, the Amarr militia attempted to show their superior force by locking down the Auga, Dal and Vard starsystems and filling local communications channels with egotistical smacktalk and taunts.

However, their taunts proved worthless and show of force didn't deter the determined forces of the Minmatar Republic May 21, 2011 when a massive fleet was assembled to revisit the POS when it came out of reinforce. Approximately 11:30am, the massive fleet, to include a sizable number of the Royal Order of Security Specialists, landed on the POS and began to lay waste to the Large Caldari Control Tower.

Suddenly a large supercarrier fleet with carrier logistical support landed to repel the attack. It was previously believed that this POS would be defended by Nephilim Xeno of ZERO HEAVY INDUSTRIES. However, it was soon realized that the defenders would be a much more interesting target to the fleet when Balder Con (Anti-Anti Piwats Incorporated) and Dunn Idaho (Core Impulse) landed with the hostile fleet.

Firmly engaged and just minutes before a system shutdown, Minmatar forces counter dropped supercarrier support and began pounding their carrier logistics support taking out 4 carriers. The hostile fleet disengaged and began a rapid retreat into the POS shields and the system shut down.

About a half hour later, Minmatar Forces resumed their assault unhindered until the starbase fell. Nothing was spared in the assault costing the Amarr Militia 11.79 Billion ISK.

Huola is a long time stronghold of the Amarr and considered their home system.

Final battle report can be seen here.
Minmatar authorities today declassified portions of a number of recent operations shedding light into battles which took place in Auga last week resulting in a number of Amarr casualties.

Over the month of April, 2011 Auga has experienced an upsurge of Amarr station huggers reluctant to leave the safety of station docking rings and join with regular detachments to seek engagements with Republic liberation forces. Along with Amarrian 0.0 failed corporations, these pilots bring top ISK into their camps with faction and t3 ships (along with neutral boosting support) designed to lock and destroy any ship that undocks at a station.

Amarr camps at the famous Republic Fleet Assembly Plant in Auga (known as Auga 3rd) have become commonplace and the Amarr have felt a false sense of security and brazenness allowing them to engage in smug smack talk in local. Such feelings and behavior was dashed on May 7th and 8th 2011.

While many called it annoying many more thought of the camps as opportunity. Amun Khonsu, of the Royal Order of Security Specialists (ROSS), stated to the press today, "We received a tip from local residents of the station on the location of some of the campers and acted on that intel with incredible results. What began as a small detachment of ROSS members quickly blossomed into a large detachment of ROSS members and then into a large militia wide fleet."

Local residents friendly to the Minmatar Militia reported an eerie calm just prior to the operation. "I remember, after a long calm, suddenly seeing a lone stealth bomber decloak on a Macherial's position and warp scrambling it" said one local, "I thought to myself, 'What the hell? Is that guy suicidal?' Then suddenly an entire fleet just appeared from nowhere and there were torpedos lighting up space!"

Later it was confirmed by the Militia that Amun Khonsu, CEO of the ROSS Corporation, was the lone Hound pilot and Muad 'dib, from The Imperial Fedaykin, was piloting the Macherial. According to authorities, Amun Khonsu and Maud 'dib were the only two casualties in the battle which nearly took down another Amarr Vindicator.

A Minmatar Fleet Commander, who wished to remain anonymous for security reasons, stated to the press, "The operation was a huge success. Once we received location intel on the positions of members of the fleet, we formed a rapid response team and struck with devastating force with minimal casualties." Minmatar authorities are correct, according to the battle reports. The Amarr militia lost a 1,492,710,000 ISK Macherial while the Minmatar militia lost a 43,161,600 ISK Hound.

According to station residents local communication networks were filled with smack talk and taunts from the Amarr until after the operation. "Local was so quiet after the Macherial went down, you could hear a pin drop! It was clear that the Amarr were not satisfied with the outcome and their expensive large ships were no where to be seen afterwards." said one local resident.

The following day was yet another devastating blow to the Amarr camper fleet when it lost its 'unprobable' loki booster. According to a declassified militia report, ROSS Combat Specialist Calinu, acquired a tactical location of the booster, now known as Jacobus Flint, from The Imperial Fedaykin, and close relative of Muad 'dib, the Macherial pilot killed in the raid the previous day. A move that earned him the highly esteemed ROSS Tactical Achievement medal.  Again, the Minmatar authorities formed a rapid response team and dished out another devastating blow as they warped in, scrambled and destroyed the command booster.

It is an achievement that is unheard of in the Galaxy and the declassified documents were blacked out where it may have described how Combat Specialist Calinu may have acquired a warp-in on the booster. Minmatar militia authorities when asked, replied repeatedly, "No comment."

"It isnt hard to hunt these guys down. They just sit there waiting for you to take their shiny expensive ships," said one soldier. Station commanders for the Republic Fleet Assembly Plant welcome the militia raids stating that these guerilla tactics are highly costly to Amarr forces flying expensive ships and who are largely static while Minmatar forces sacrifice low cost frigates with devastating force.

The Amarr Loki booster cost 468,208,000 ISK and cost the Minmatar no loss.
